Celebrity Hairstylist LaTisha Chong Dies at 32

Clients included Serena Williams, Tracee Ellis Ross and more.

LaTisha Chong, the hairstylist responsible for Serena Williams’ flowing crimped honey-colored ombre locks shown on the September cover of Vogue Magazine, has died.    Chong, who was part of what critic Antwaun Sargent called the “New Black Vanguard,” died on July 19 in New York City of metastatic breast cancer at 32, her sister Afesha confirmed in recent days.
